The Bath Murder Mystery.
A Boy makes a Curious Find which he Hands to the Police.
The Bath correspondent of the Central News telegraphs that
shortly after the proceedings at Weston Police-court concluded on Monday, a boy
handed to Detective-sergeant Smith, of the Bath police force, who has been
assisting the county constabulary in their investigation, a
curiously-constructed knife. The boy stated that he had picked up the knife
early in August, 1891, outside the cavern in which the remains of the murdered
woman Wilkie were found at Hampton Down.
